"Depart by coach to Riomaggiore. Today's hike will include the most quintessential Cinque Terre trail which follows the ridge separating the coast from the inland regions. Continue your hike along a forest path surrounded by pine and chestnut trees, ending in Acquasanta. From here, take a bus back to Portovenere. 4 hour hike, approx. 4.5 miles. Please note that trails #1 and #3 have mixed terrain including stone, forest-floor and rocky, narrow paths with some uphill climbing."
