The casual user interface was more difficult than I wanted for distributing vintage photos.

Downloaded Piwigo from

 http://piwigo.org

 sudo mv piwigo/ /var/www/html/ 
 
 sudo chown www-data:www-data -R /var/www/html/piwigo
 
 mysql -u root -p
 create database piwigo;
 exit

In browser

 http://localhost/piwigo
