Attempt to install Realtek Drivers

• Realtek driver downloads
• Selected the following sequence in the "Downloads" tabs on the left of the pag
  • "Communications Network ICs"
    • "Network interface controller SW"
      • "10/100M faster internet"
        • "USB 2"

Provide this tar file: tar xjf 0010-r8152.53-2.10.0.tar.bz2

Failed. Not in the mood to debug.

Conclusion

The Edimax Wifi adapter is old. Its drivers are old and not being maintained. I'll look for a better HW or SW solution rather then expend energy here.

Example Issue Resolutions

• Blacklist default Realtek drivers
• Driver doesn't connect with new kernel versions
