Investigate Control Hub from sisters WiFi

  • in WiFi settings
    • Opened the WiFi Settings window
    • Found FTC-KOWN and connected to it
    • password: "password"
    • Pressed "Properties" link and found this
      • SSID FTC-kOWM
      • DNS servers: 192.164.43.187
      • address: 192.168.43.187
      • MAC: F8-34-41-C8-49-FC
  • In browser
    • Went to we page 192.168.43.1:8080
    • Got a valid "Robot Controller Connection Info" page

Update Control Hub from to Sisters Wifi - zdome

  • Connect to zdome Wifi

Download and Execute the REV Hardware Client

Follow REV Hardware Client instructions

Start up the REV Hardware Client

  • Down load version 1.3.0: REV-Hardware-Client-Setup-1.3.0.exe
  • Execute REV Hardware Client
  • Connect Control Hub to Sisters using the cable in its box:
    • Plug the Control Hub into the PC using the orange USB-A to USB-C Cable that came with the Control Hub
  • Select the Control Hub
  • Select "Manage" from Hamburger icon (upper right)

  • Control Hub Operating System
    • Current Version 1.1.1
    • Latest Version 1.1.2
  • Robot Controller App
    • current Version 5.4
    • Latest Version 7.0
  • Hub Firmware
    • Current 1.8.2
    • Latest 1.8.2
    • don't update

Updating WiFi Settings

  • Change name: FTC-kOWM to OrRAS01-RC
  • This is the SSID
  • NOTE the naming convenstion IMPROTANT
    • Control Hub: xxxx-RC
    • Driver Station will be set latter to: xxxx-DS

Tested

This gives me OnBot Java

  • Connect to the OrRAS01-RC network
  • Went to we page 192.168.43.1:8080
  • Got a valid "Robot Controller Connection Info" page
