Build the Workspace

  mkdir -p ~/catkin_ws/src
  cd ~/catkin_ws/src/
  catkin_init_workspace 
  cd ..
  catkin_make
  . devel/setup.bash 
  echo $ROS_PACKAGE_PATH
  cd src/
  catkin_create_pkg follow std_msgs rospy roscpp
  cd ..
  catkin_make
  . ~/catkin_ws/devel/setup.bash

Package Setup

In ~/catkin_ws/src/follow

In ~/catkin_ws/src/follow/src

Test

 rosrun usb_cam usb_cam_node ~video_device "/dev/video0"
 rosrun follow camera_display
